Columbia river fishing is gone folks and it is Not Global Warming!
I just love all the media when they have some guest on to talk about an issue! The pat cliché saying is “Let’ have a conversation????” Or “We need to have the conversation!” Or some other form referring to the conversation. REALLY What the heck do you think is going on when you are invited onto a broadcast to talk or debate about an issue? Do you think, you people who spew this cliche statement, aren’t having THE CONVERSATION?
It seems to me that those that kneeled during the national anthem started the conversation and people quit talking and took action. Which these so-called national conversations don’t accomplish. Most people who want these national conversations never want action to take place because of these CONVERSATIONS.
Simply put, you people who want to have the “national conversation”, couldn’t come up with a solution for any issue that needs action if you were paid a billion dollars or even to save your life.
TALK! TALK!TALK!TALK! TALK!TALK!TALK!TALK!TALK!TALK!TALK!TALK!TALK!TALK!
This has been happening for 30 years or more. Conversations have been going on about so many issues and nothing ever gets done. All media likes talking about the issue but no action is taken. Can’t people get off their arse and do something about what they don’t like happening. Get involved, then report on what progress you are making. The rich and wealthy needs to put thier money where thier mouth is.
Not being against the pipeline I did have some, reservations no pun intended, about the route of the pipeline and the possible, I repeat the possible encroachment on reservation land. I think the aggressionfrom the feds upon the protesters was to much. So I kept my eye on what was happening.
The protesters were protesting an environmental possibility. The possibility of a potential pollution of water. The protesters were all up in arms that the pipeline might, I repeat, might pollute the water.
Now that the pipeline is going forth, the protesters have left the sight of a makeshift camp, of a population in the thousands. People came from all over to support the protest of this would be polluting project.
I must now express my disgust and disappointment in the protesters. Just like other long-term protests that have taken place, the aftermath is a garbage dump.
The environmental impact on the water supply is disgusting. The human waste is appalling. The tents and tarps and food waste, sleeping bags, blankets, foam pads, plastic totes, containers, styrofoam coolers, cardboard boxes of supplies for living. Large burn barrels, piles of firewood for warming tepees and cooking fires. The unused cases of canned goods and water. The list goes on….
Then as if environmental impact wasn’t bad enough as the protesters leave they set fire to this garbage.
The burning of some of this makeshift camp is a much larger impact than a pipeline that carries oil. The Alaska pipeline (Alyeska pipeline)has been in use for 40 years and has been running pretty smooth. It put 70,000 people to work.http://www.alyeska-pipe.com/TAPS/HistoryDesignConstruction
You make the call but my take is that this was and example of serious hypocrisy!!??
I do beleive the indigenous people were used for someone elses agenda.
In a well thought out piece, we learn that Obama has eyes on the Arctic. Of course, to remove any opportunity for oil and gas exploration and adding to the larder of government controlled land and …
We now have a perfect example again of taking land at any cost. Obama has, by the stroke of a pen taken large swaths of land for a national monument. If this isn’t enough the feds make a point to take land that has been involved in a controversy with the people. The feds did not like the fact that they had to back down so, after enough time has passed and the American people have forgotten all about it. The feds hate to lose, so they stomp their proverbial feet and abuse their power.
The feds had to back off from a land taking, bullying issue and they are like a bully on the play ground. They did not get their own way so they take a different strategy to take the land anyway. They couldn’t take it by buying it, they couldn’t take it by fining the owner, they couldn’t take it by damaging property, they couldn’t take it by force so they use the pen of the white house to take it.
You may say they did not take the land that was privately owned, that may or may not be true! But, by making the property adjacent to the land will mean that the property owner will be put under an exorbitant amount of restriction as to what they will be able to do on the land. If any of the restrictions are violated, even if the restriction goes completely against common sense and constitutional right, fines will be imposed up to and including federal jail time.
We have already seen the federal over reach with the Oregon gentlemen ( Mr Hammond who sits in federal prison). Mr Hammond would not be bullied, he would not sell, he sucked it up and paid fines and still ended up in federal prison. These people know that if they wait out Mrs. Hammond and wait till she is financial troubled or becomes elderly enough to go into a nursing home they will swoop in and take the land. They hope the same thing will happen with the Bundy ranch.
Everyone says “oh they can’t do that” or ” that wouldn’t happen” or even still “why would they do that”.
Those that say these things are in the dark, they are gullible sheeple. They will believe anything the feds tell them.
All over the country as well as the world the land grabs have been going on unchecked and unabated. As long as a fantasy football season is in play there is no one to stop this bunch from implementing Agenda 21 (now known as Agenda 30).
The following articles include eminent domain, and other methods of takings…
GERMAN ministers have said they will bring in an effectual ban on the burka by making it illegal for women not to show their faces in public.
Senior members of Angela Merkel’s ruling coalition struck a compromise after the leader expressed unease about the full face veil, but appeared to come out against officially outlawing it.
They will now not legally ban the burka, but will instead bring in new laws requiring people to show their faces in public streets as well as in courts, offices and schools, which will effectively render the garment illegal.

I have not weighed in on all the hoopla around Donald Trump and the election but I think it is time….
With all of the colleges and Universities treating our 20 somethings like little kids that need a hug. I am really appalled at the incitement of the young, to take to the streets and protest. The protesting is a real way to start a move like the 60’s but I do not remember anyone beating pregnant women on the way to the hospital or braking car windows to get your point across.
I think that the ultimate dumbing down of our youth has finally happened, when college campuses have to provide group hugs, scheduled “cry-ins”, post-election safe spaces with bubbles, Legos,Play-Doh, hot chocolate, therapy dogs, coloring books, calming music and videos of puppies. Even going so far as to “cancel scheduled test”!
I knew that Agenda 21 had plans to dumb down people make them weak and re-engineer people’s thinking. Real social engineering. Between the vaccines and the trophies and the entitlements that have been thrust upon them. The cradle to grave agenda is working. These kids that are now in College are the kids that have been brainwashed into believing that the oceans are rising, the icebergs all over the world are disappearing, the rain is stopping, the ozone is being eaten up, and the rain forest is all but gone, along with much much more. The environment is in severe peril that all human life must cease to exist for this planet to live. Mommy and daddy government is the only hope for the environment.
The college student today has never seen real trials and tribulations in their life. They have never had to gather food to eat. They have never had to fix something to keep it running. They have never had to really count their pennies just to eat. They have never had to walk to get anywhere. They have never had to go without.
The college student today are the most pampered, mollycoddled, spoiled, pandered to, overindulged and over-protected. These kids have been abuse by their parents. Theses kids parents have lied to them. They have been using them. They have been playing games with them. These kids have had an injustice done to them by their parents and every adult in their life.
Why are these kids even using every penny to stay in college and get an education. Number one an education is highly overrated. Number these kids know nothing when they graduate. And number three they don’t care if they know anything.
These entitled kids are truly disenfranchised. But not for the reasons you think. Many of them are so brainwashed and disillusion at life that they have no hope. With no hope there is no desire to improve. With no hope they have no faith, no faith in anything. Unfortunately they don’t even feel inadequate. They have been given an inflated sense of who they are but they have not been given any hope.
Someone has given them another brainwashing. They think they have been jilted. So they protest, unfortunately they have been stirred up to a frenzy by an organization that wants them to believe that our democracy is wrong and they should change it. They have also been led to believe that their feelings are the only thing that matters, so you change everyone else to suit your feelings.
So my suggestion is to buck-up buttercup, quit being a mamby-pamby, get over it , grow some cojones, quit your cry-ins quit playing with your plah-doh, get some counselling from a real professional and quit your complaining.
